Locality Hubs
Locality Hubs have been designed and set up to provide the opportunity to access a range of health, social care and community services – all in one place. Located across North West Surrey they are aimed at providing services for older people with several health problems or issues which impact general health and wellbeing. Locality hubs are a key way to support people to enjoy independent and fulfilled lives for as long as possible.
The Bedser Hub provides a number of specific services for patients:
- Community nursing
- Podiatry
- Rapid response physiotherapy and occupational therapy
- Dedicated geriatricians from Ashford &St Peter’s Hospitals
- Citizens Advice Woking – Wellbeing Co-ordinator providing support to patients in claiming benefits
- Talking therapies and general mental health support, including those suffering from memory loss
